Quality Control and Inspection Methods

This course is an introductory course focusing on quality control and inspection in welding. Topics include quality, evaluation of defects and discontinuities, inspection responsibilities, the role of welding supervisors and inspectors, and more.

This is an intermediate course focusing on the fundamentals of gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW). Topics start with a review of basic GTAW concepts then progress into joint design, metal preparation and welding of aluminum, best practices for welding pipe, and more.
